The Pages for Purpose Contest was created with the goal of giving young writers a place where their creativity can shine! With our short-story creative writing competition, experienced writers will judge the submissions and select multiple stand-out stories, giving awards for many different accomplishments. We provide an engaging platform where young writers can showcase their work. The top awarded submissions will get their work published through larger organizations.
Any individual ages 10-14 can choose to apply to our contest by submitting their short-story based around the prompt we will have provided.
Once the submission date has closed, a team of judges will evaluate the stories and select an assortment of winners based on several categories such as creativity, figurative language, writing style, and more!
The winners of the competition will be released and, published on our website as well as our sponsers. Individual prizes will be awarded to select contestants and their stories will be showcased around New Jersey.
